Lukodi-massacre memorial site,

The Lukodi Massacre Memorial Site stands as a solemn reminder of a dark chapter in Ugandan history. Located approximately 17 kilometres north of Gulu town in northern Uganda, the site commemorates the brutal massacre that took place on May 19, 2004. The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels raided Lukodi village, killing over 60 people in cold blood. A monument was erected in 2005 to Honor the victims, with the names of 45 of those killed inscribed on it.

Awach catholic mission.

The Awach Catholic Mission was likely situated near the Awach River in Gulu, northern Uganda. There's a news reference suggesting the mission was evacuated by the NRA (National Resistance Army) in 1987 due to insecurity during the LRA insurgency (1986-2006). Following the model of Catholic Missions in Uganda, the Awach Mission likely provided religious services, education, and healthcare to the local community.

The Basilica is situated in Lodonga, Yumbe District, Uganda It's approximately 17 kilometers west of Yumbe Town and 75 kilometers northeast of Arua, the largest city in the West Nile sub-region

Aliwang Catholic Parish

Established in 1951, the Aliwang Catholic Parish has a long history serving the Catholic community in Lira In 2018, a new parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace Orum Parish, was curved out of Aliwang Parish. As of June 2022, Fr. Alfred Apunyu and Fr. Haron Okello were listed as the priests serving the Aliwang Catholic Parish.

Paimol wipolo marytrs’ site

The Paimol Wipolo Martyrs' Site commemorates the deaths of Daudi Okello and Jildo Irwa, two catechists who were martyred in 1918. The site is situated in Paimol, a sub-county within the Agago District of northern Uganda. The shrine complex reportedly includes a chapel, a modern prayer basilica, a tomb for the martyrs, and underground changing rooms. The site is known for its serene location with open wooded savannah and a soothing mountainous climate
